Privacy
The short version: we collect as little as the product can work with, we do not sell anything about you, and there are no third-party trackers or advertising pixels on this site.
If you have an account
- Your handle, shown publicly on your comments and profile.
- Your passphrase, stored only as a salted, peppered PBKDF2 hash. We cannot read it.
- Your comments and votes, and the moments they attach to.
We do not ask for your email address, and there is no email sign-in yet. We do not upload or store avatars — the mark beside your handle is generated from the handle itself.
If you just read
Nothing about you is stored on our side. Your phone remembers how far you have watched and which comments you liked, in your own browser, and that never reaches us.
Watching sessions
When you finish watching along, we store one row: which episode, how long, how many times you resynced and by how much, and how many comments you posted. It carries a random device id, not an identity. It exists to answer one question — whether the sync actually works.
Third parties
Pages are served through Cloudflare, which processes requests on our behalf and injects its own analytics beacon on this domain. Fonts load from Google Fonts. Poster images load from TMDB. Show and film data come from TVmaze and TMDB, and subtitle timing from OpenSubtitles — we send them no information about you.
Deleting things
Ask a moderator through the report button and your account and comments will be removed. Self-service deletion is on the list and not yet built.
